Storm Season Debrief - Message from the Marina Manager;

A big thank you to everyone who joined our Storm Season Debrief that we held on 15th May. It was a great opportunity to talk through how we managed this year’s cyclone season and to hear your feedback and questions—including questions about type of ropes, tying off your Multihulls, and how the Marina team respond to concerns about neighbouring vessels.

While the region didn’t experience any cyclone impact for the season, our team's management for storm season was to prioritize safeguarding both people and property. This involved regular monthly cyclone readiness inspections of every vessel, improvements to our audit process, and ongoing communication with boat owners about their plans and progress.

We’re incredibly grateful for the proactive efforts from our boat owners—especially during the uncertainty around the varied monsoon events and TC-Alfred. Your updates, early advice to staff and preparedness made a real difference to our emergency planning.
