Breakwater strives to ensure that its facilities and services are accessible to people with disabilities.

Breakwater Marina is committed to providing equal access and inclusion for all visitors, regardless of disability. We recognize that people with disabilities may have different needs and we strive to provide a comfortable, safe, and inclusive environment.

To that end, Breakwater Marina has developed their Accessibility & Inclusion standards to outline our commitment and our efforts to ensure that our services and facilities are accessible to everyone. Our Accessibility & Inclusion statement includes information on how we provide reasonable accommodations and services to meet the needs of people with disabilities. We also provide information on how to request reasonable accommodations or services.

  • Onsite Facilities:  we have a dedicated Disabled Toilet/Shower Facility which can be accessed with a private assigned key from the Marina Office.
  • We have graded ramps are located to access the Marina Office and the Pier Gatehouses doorways and Pier Walkways are to Australian Standard widths.
  • All Marina staff, students, visitors and contractors are expected to treat people with disabilities with respect. If, however, an individual feels they have been discriminated against or harassed on the grounds of disability, they are encouraged to report the incident to the Marina Office.

We welcome feedback on ways we can improve our efforts to ensure equal access and inclusion for all.
