🎪 Cotter's Markets Every Sunday in the City Centre (10 mins walk away)
Flinders Street Cotters Market Townsville 
Cotters Market is North Queensland's largest arts and crafts market with over 150 stalls offering an amazing selection of unique local arts and craft, fresh food, live music and fun for the kids. Cotters Market is held each Sunday from 8.30am to 1pm in Flinders Mall (in the city centre, only a 10 minute walk from our Marina) - you can check out their FACEBOOK page to find out what's happening each week.

🎪 Strand Night Markets - First Friday of the Month (10 mins walk away)
First Friday Night of every month from 5pm at Strand Park. There will plenty of food trucks, local craft and stalls showcasing our tropical town's talents.  The Strand Night Markets are the perfect way to start your weekend and enjoy time with family and friends.

Getting Around

Why not get around town on a Scooter!  You’ll see Orange and Purple Scooters around our City Centre for hire, easily download the Neuron or Beam app on your phone, and use the map to find the nearest scooters, then scan to start the hire.  Scooters are approx 45c a minute and a quick and fun way to get around town!

Townsville's a great place to get outdoors and explore with walkways that lead through tropical parklands, wildlife reserves and along our beautiful beaches.   

Our Marina is located directly adjacent to Anzac Park, the first section of the Strand.  This precinct extends 2.7km to Jezzine Barracks which connects to Rowes Bay and further to Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park.

 

You can visit the local council's website to download a guide to the nearby walking and cycle paths, or to find popular trails like the walk up the "Goat Track" up iconic Castle Hill.

Whether you go by foot, bike or car the view at the top of Castle Hill is simply spectacular, best form of free exercise in Townsville - and the views from the top are fantastic!  Either take the road up for a brisk walk, or for a good work out take the "Goat Track".
