Events in the Marina:
There’s a real spirit and sense of community at Breakwater Marina. Many long term tenants visited years ago and simply decided to stay. An annual social and events calendar brings people together regularly. Musical jam sessions share the unseen talents of floating residents, whilst BBQ’s and the big screen TV are dragged out to celebrate various competitions on the sporting calendar.
An indoor games room has been created to offer Marina customers an all-weather respite from their boats it’s a social place to catch-up or chill out and by all means feel free to connect to the Marina’s free Wifi. A free communal BBQ Area with adjacent herb gardens is available anytime you need to catch up with friends.
Check our Breakwater Marina facebook page for upcoming events in the marina.
Introducing $5 Fridays on the First
From discussions with our tenants and staff, Breakwater Marina have now committed to a social event every month for the remainder of 2017 starting with our first one in June. The idea behind “$5 FRIDAYS” is for our tenants to enjoy a social event to catch up and meet new friends. We’ll donate half of every entry fee to the Tropical Pink Friday McGrath Foundation Charity, and each month we’ll put on a different theme, including Foods Around the World, Trivia Competitions, Musical Nights and other fun and games. And if you miss this one, there’s another one next month to enjoy. Check our Breakwater Marina facebook page for upcoming $5 Fridays so you can join in the fun too.
