Services and Facilities
Refuelling
Unleaded and diesel fuel available. Fuel is available 6am to 6 pm.
Gas and Ice
Available from the Marina supervisor attending the fuel wharf.
Electricity
All Breakwater Marina berths are provided with single phase electrical connections up to 15amps included in the berth fee. Three phase power at 32 and 63 amps is available on selected larger berths, its use and consumption is charged individually. Vessels requiring duplicate leads attract a surcharge.
Water
Fresh potable water is available to all Breakwater Marina berths. Please be considerate in your use of this resource.
Black Water and Waste Oil
Discharge of black water and oils into the marine environment is strictly prohibited. Decanting into storage at the rear of the Administration Office Building is permitted.
Amenities
Marina amenities are located at the top of Pier E and are accessed by using your Marina access key
Laundry
Laundry facilities including coin operated washing machines and dryers are available at the northern end of the Amenities Building
Waste
The Marina waste facilities are located at the amenities building and at the top of C-Pier for general refuse only.
Access Cards
Access cards are required to access all Pier head security gates and the Amenities building. The Marina office will issue access cards when you check into the Marina and take a $25 deposit. Please ensure you have your access card with you at all times and access cards need to be returned to the Marina office prior to departure to have your deposit refunded.
Parking
A Marina car park is available for Marina tenants
Dinghy Berths
Dinghy berthing is only permitted on the inside of the fuel wharf, closest to the shore.
Administration Building
Retail outlets include a Marine Chandlery, Boat Broker, Coffee Shop and Barber
Customs and Quarantine Clearance port
Breakwater Marina Townsville is a designated clearance port for international vessels. Contact to Australian Customs and Quarantine Inspection Services prior to your arrival to arrange a time to inspect. Once these Authorities are onsite, clearance can be done by tying up on the Fuel Wharf.
